Player Profile: Tony Woodcock

"While his reputation is built on strong scrummaging and hard graft, Woodcock is a mobile prop with good ball skills who can break out when presented with an open field"

Interesting to know: His absence with the All Blacks for the first two games of the 2004 Air New Zealand NPC prevented his playing every game for North Harbour between 2001–2004. He did not miss a minute in 2002 or 2003.

We think: He's a quiet, unassuming chap, he was at Pat's the night of the Shield success, supping his beers with a contented grin on his visage, he's one of our region's rural brethren, and he's said in the past he'll be quite happy to keep plugging away for the ABs before retiring to his farm. In other words, he's a top bloke!
