Dear Mr Pivac,

As a fan of harbour rugby I would like to thank you for giving us loyal supporters the worst season ever.

You came to us as the "saviour" of our rugby and have now shown us what a fool you have been.

Your game plans have been ridiculous and your choice of players insane. Your excuse will be that the team had injuries all year but I hope you will still remember that the games we should have won against Northland and Counties were played with a "full squad" and it was on later in the season that players got injured.

How interesting that Fiji have made the quarter finals of the world cup without you. Maybe there is a lesson in that.

You would have to be on something to think Tusi is the best first five in the union, to think Hincho is better than Roger Dustow, to think that some of our young props are better than "AD" and that our useless loose forwards are better than say Tamihere.

Playing players out of position was another of your genius plans.

Yes Mr Pivac you have been a revelation to us all. A mentally handicapped person could have coached the Auckland team which you proudly show on your CV but when it comes to coaching "average players" you have chosen you have fallen short....

again many thanks

Ian
