I am writing to express my utter disgust with the performance of the team, not just this past Saturday, but the entire season.

Drawing with Northland and Counties, and getting pounded by Hawkes Bay, we really should not be surprised that the shield is heading over the bombay hills.

As a union we produce as much rugby talent as any other. The union has put a lot of effort into developing these young players in terms of the academy and one only has to look at the number of Harbour players in NZ age-group sides. Our problem is maintaining the players within the union to help blood these young players. In no other union in New Zealand do they throw their experienced players to the curb! I mean we have to get a loan player from Auckland, who then is called home, leaving us empty.

Take a look at yourself Wayne! Playing one of the best wingers in Super 14 this year, Rudi Wulf at 2nd 5! He has no distribution skills to fed the best center in New Zealand rugby at the moment in Tuituvaki. And playing a first 5/fullback in McPhee on the wing! He has a big boot, does all line kiciking and place kicking so play him at first 5!

Im so pissed off now writing this e-mail! Why can;t Harbour go out and secure a hooker and halfback in free agency? Why not look at luring Sharky back? Fuck, why not just get Buck back in there with his cancer and all! I will still provide ten times the fucking passion and commitment than our players! They are star struck playing at this level!
