We say ...

We at harbourrugby.com like to believe that we provide cutting, incisive wisdom to all eleven of our committed, dedicated Harbour fans across this fledgling city. So when we get criticism from fellow Harbourites - even ones who are functionally illiterate - it hurts our feelings. It makes us question whether we are providing a service that is fair and balanced to people associated with all the clubs in the region. Judgemental, accusatory language makes us weep into our teddies and seek solace in our therapists.

Thankfully, we have no reason to be worried. Tusi Pisi (Massey) came in for a fair bit of stick, obviously, because he's not up to it at this level; as did Andrew Whiteman who also plays for Massey but isn't exactly a veteran, having only moved from the Scum side of the bridge a year ago in an effort to advance his career. We still view him as a chancey Aucklander. Zar Lawrence (Takapuna) is the player who has been most consistently bagged. Conversely, Greg Rawlinson (Silverdale), Nick Williams (Northcote), George Pisi (Massey), Mike Noble (Helensville), and Waqaseduadua (North Shore) have consistently gained plaudits, as have the collective forward pack. Besides this, comments fair and foul have been made of many folk. Junior Polu (Massey) started the season well as was justifiable noted, but we have questioned his delivery off the deck because it isn't good. Luke McAlister (Silverdale) has not been praised anywhere near enough, but true love means not having to say it.
