The cover has the worst Harbour
coach for a while going for a ball with Walsh, Bunce and Clarke
in the background. Horrible ARFU logo, Export gold and block
lettering with shading making up a largely forgettable cover.
The
Vibe:
Auckland like other unions, have
had a love/hate relationship with the rugby programme. Sometimes
they are full of informative and exciting info, sometimes they
a 3-ply piece of human effluent paper, this is one of the later.
The
Content:
An article on the proposed two-round
competition for 1995, Harbour seeking it's elusive first win,
pen portraits and a lot of ARFU clubs looking for coaches.
Player
Profile:
Wasn't one.
Interesting
Bits:
Piss all (only 22 pages), the NH
B team featured many players that would go on to represent Harbour,
some players were even from Western United which changed its
name shortly afterwards. They obvious interesting bit was that
we won. Walter scored the greatest try there ever was and we
drank a lot of booze at the Poe. My favourite ever game.
