Forgetful Alistair

A shocking state of affairs when Forgetful Alistair loses his mind so early in the season.

The ones that stand out are:

  • Australia (Onewa Domain), 1990
  • British Lions (Mt. Smart), 1993
  • France (Eden Park), 1994
  • Samoa (Albany), 1998

The Australia game was my favourite due to the large crowd at Takapuna, however the 27-23 against the French was sublime. Made all the more satisfying when inspirational player Pod Turner went off with an ankle injury early in the second-half.
