Just read the "We say" piece with the 5 previous wins over the Darkness.

Some errors to be corrected:

In the 9-9 draw in '89 Walter kicked all the points - Frano was injured so Walter moved in one, and outplayed Fox despite being about 13 years old at the time.
(Colin's correct, Frano didn't actually play in this game - Editor)

The score in the first Harbour Day match in '94 was 35-31 (or else my cashflow PIN has been wrong all these years).
(Colin's correct again - Editor)

We beat them twice in 1995 - can't remember the score but we took them down in a preseason match at Mt Smart played over 4 quarters - and by counting this we actually lead the head to head count - we've beaten them at 4 different grounds, they've only beaten us at 3.

It should also be noted for posterity that the 2004 match was played on the 10th anniversary of Harbour Day, and that I picked it as soon as I saw the draw that season.

Good to see Auckland out of the top 8 - any year that Auckland fails can't be that bad. Tho a shame the cantabs are prob going to win the NPC now that Wellington's reverting to type.
